Horse Boarding

We are looking for equine residents to spoil.  Horses boarding at Uwharrie River Farms are treated like members of our family.  The monthly boarding fee also includes membership in our Equine Club.

Full board includes, stall board 12x12 stalls with rubber mats and pine shavings, daily tournout to either a private paddock or shared pasture, includes feeding twice daily with premium Purina horse feeds and quality hay with trace minerals offered in all paddocks and pastures, clean water buckets and troughts, stalls cleaned daily.

Paddock board includes twice daily feeding and hay.  Our paddocks are large spacious areas fenced with four board horse safe fencing with a hot wire running around the inside of the top board to discourage cribbing.  All paddocks have their own private run in shed to get out of the weather or sun.

Ammentities include: automatic fly system in the main barn, a wash bay with hot and cold water, your own private locker for tack, tacking up areas, delux bathroom facilites with shower, round pen with six foot high horse safe panels and miles of exquisite trails to ride and enjoy.  We are currently working on our new riding arena and will have that completed by early Spring of 2008.

Additional services offered on a fee basis:  blanketing, grooming, exercising, holding for the farrier or vet, worming, and administering medicine.

For the trail riding horse lover we have a terrific Equine Club designed to empower owner and horses alike. We'd love to host you and your equine partner for a day of guided trail riding. Have you heard about our horsemanship classes? You'll find more information on the Calendar page.
